I had no regrets during my stay at Somewhere Tecom and will always go back whenever I visit Dubai. I stayed from 10 Nov to 27 Nov 17 nights 1 approx.
Lights must be switched off too 2 increase WiFi bandwidth. I have stayed here several times and choose Legacy because of the location and value. For example they should change the curtains which look very old. The Internet is appalling slow and only one device can be used per paid connection. Many people travel with multiple devices that need connection and why do you charge as a separate fee? It's so annoying and should be included in the room rate. Apart from that everything else was fine. There is a mini mart nearby, pharmacy and other retail stores which is very convenient. It's 5 minutes walk to Tecom station and 2 stops to the famous Mall of Emirates.
If you need to be close to Knowledge village or DMC, this hotel is the best choice. Big rooms with professional services and hospitality. In addition to the great value, the hotel includes great breakfast wit wide variety of buffets. I stayed in a room with 6 beds and a balcony, i had my own locker, small kitchen and bathroom.
Nearby there's everything supermarket, restaurants and metro station. If only they can make it a non-smoking room. I have enjoyed my experience with auris inn and will recommend a stay with this hotel. The Gulf Oasis Hotel Apartments were not bad at all. They are reasonably priced and were well serviced. I had a noisy fan and a missing bath plug which were both seen to within 10 minutes.

My one gripe would be that the place is located within TECOM or Internet City and I'd hoped that Internet would be free and fast -it was neither during my stay but I'm sure the management will see the sense to include it soon! We spend a very nice week at this place. Very comfortable appartment with 2 bedrooms and with all you can need during your stay.
Garage for the car and a nice pool. There is also a fitness and a playground for kids, and barbeque zones. We had the car so it was easy to get to famous attractions. And it is in good district. Surely recommend. There are plenty of beauty salons and hairdressers and an impressive gym called MMA fitness too. There are also a few hotels including Millennium and Media Rotana which have great restaurants.
